ABOUT ME I'm twenty-one, and I run on CST. I've got a full time job that eats up way more of my time than I'd like, and I'm taking a few summer classes just so I don't fall too behind. I also have friends and family I like to devote my time to, so obviously I can't be around all the time. My availability differs from week to week, really, and depends on what kind of schedule they give me at work. Some weeks I work all days, some weeks I work all nights, and others it's a nice mixture of both. Regardless, though, you're more likely to catch me on late at night than any other time. Definitely doesn't mean I won't pop on now and again during the day, though. I'm a very patient and leniant writing partner, and I understand that it takes awhile sometimes. Generally I can easily get out a reply or two a day, but sometimes it might take a few days, and if it's going to take me longer than that, I'll definitely leave you a comment and let you know so you won't think I died on you. There's nothing I hate more than a storyline partner just kicking the bucket on me without an explanation. Trust me, I'll be much more offended by you dropping off the face of the Earth than I will you telling me you're just not into our line anymore.
WRITING STYLE Third person, storybook, past tense. Doesn't everyone do it that way these days? I won't do astericks because they're annoying, and I won't do first person because it kind of creeps me out. I don't have a set amount of words or anything when it comes to length. I can get a bit wordy sometimes and do enjoy lots of detail, but I like to think I don't go overboard with it. I don't bore my partner with a paragraph about what color the couch is or anything crazy like that. I'm kind of a 'get what you give' type of writer. Not that I expect you to match me word for word or anything, but just don't respond to my two paragraphs with two sentences and we'll be a-okay. Grammar, spelling, and punctuation are obviously important in writing, but I'm not a grammar nazi or anything. Everyone makes mistakes, and I don't expect every single response to be perfect because I can assure you right now that mine won't be.
CELEB, PB, OR BOTH? Played-by only for the most part, but lately I've been itching to celeb Skandar Keynes. As a general rule, though, it's strictly PB.
HET OR SLASH? Slash only, please. I may change my mind at some point and add a few het pairings, but right now I'm only interested in slash.
ADULT SCENES? I have absolutely no problem with adult scenes. I don't want a smutfest or anything, but I don't mind writing out sex scenes. I've honestly never really 'faded to black,' but if that's what you're more comfortable with I could give it a try. I'm not really bothered by a lot and am willing to try out all sorts of things. Let me just point this out, though. Since I'm going to be dealing with mostly slash, I'm not into the whole defining of the top/bottom from the very beginning. You have to at least semi-establish personality and get a feel for them before you jump into that, and I'm not into storylines for the sex. I think making them 'switches' would work out for the best unless you just absolutely want it another way. Honestly, most of the time when people want someone to play their 'top' it's just so they can get some kind of weird sexual thrill from it.
AIM OR THREAD? Threading only. I don't sit down at the computer and stay on AIM long enough to get anything accomplished, so you'll get more out of me with threading anyway.
